ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Please note that although all presentations have 15 minutes in the programme, the presentation time is 10 minutes, Q&A is 3 minutes and 2 minutes is buffer time for going on and off the stage.

If a session block contains two presentations, each presenter is allocated 6 minutes for the presentation plus Q&A. The total time for both presenters must not exceed 15 minutes.

We have prepared a Dropbox folder to collect the presentations, which can be found HERE. This way, the technician has time to check your slides before the congress. The uploading system is active until 23 August, 22 PM (EEST).

If you cannot upload your presentation by the deadline, please bring your slides on a USB drive to the venue. Please hand the file to the technician (their desk is at the back of the hall) or to the volunteer at least 2 breaks before your presentation’s session starts. Plenary Hall has a technician and room 140 and 0015 have a volunteer helping you.

Please use PPTX as the format and use slides in 16:9 format.

Microphone is only available in the Plenary Hall. Other rooms have a good acoustic and doesn't need a microphone. Please inform the technician during the break before your presentation if you would like to use a head microphone in the Plenary Hall.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Poster sessions are taking place in the Forestry Building (address: Kreutzwaldi 5). Posters have been arranged based on session names and colours. At the venue, please follow the room plan to see where exactly you can put your poster. We welcome you to keep your posters up until the end of the Congress.

The poster session will be held in two parts:

1st block: presenters at their posters on 25 August, 12:15-13:50

2nd block: presenters at their posters on 27 August, 12:10-13:30

Poster session list is available here: https://esa2026.ee/programme/poster-sessions/.

The maximum size enabled for your poster is A0 - 841 mm (horizontal) x 1188 mm (vertical). Please choose a suitable format for your poster – portrait, not landscape.

Posters will be mounted using double-sided removable adhesive tape meant for posters, provided by the organizer.

-> Please do not print your poster on vinyl or too heavy paper.

-> Please do not put posters up using your own tape, it may damage the poster stands/glass.

Poster cases can be stored if the case is properly labelled. You can hand the poster case to the staff at the registration desk and then ask for it there when you would like to get it back.

Please mount your poster when you arrive at the venue and have received your badge. Please leave it up for as long as possible.
